Key Metrics Overview

Main Metrics

  • Search Revenue. The sum of product prices (or orders, if an order-based model is selected) attributed to the search;
  • Total Revenue. The sum of all orders for the period;
  • Share of Search Revenue. Calculated by the formula (Search Revenue / Total Revenue) × 100%;
  • Orders with Search Participation. The number of orders attributed to the search;
  • Orders without Search Participation. Calculated by the formula Total Orders − Orders with Search Participation;
  • Empty Results. The number of queries for which the search returned no products;
How to use
  • Compare Share of Search Revenue with total revenue — this indicates the value of search;
  • Monitor Empty Results: an increase in the share of empty queries signals problems in the assortment or search settings;
