Using of multi-feeds

The Retail Rocket platform allows you to use several product feeds at the same time within one online store.

For example, if your online store assortment has differences in prices/availability depending on the customer's region, then you can upload XML-file for each region.

For this you need:

1. Divide the product base into several independent parts. Please, read requirements for the XML-file and check an example of the file structure. It is important that stockID parameters should not be duplicated in several files, and all product categories should be described in the same file;
2. Go to the General settings / Product base synchronization section in your office.

3. Add data source. Specify the following parameters:
   • The link to XML-file: an absolute link to a file with a product database, starting with https://;
   • StockId by default - it would be set for products with a missing StockID.;
   • Proxy region - the location of the server which is hosting XML-file;

The first file download will start almost immediately after adding the data source. The frequency of subsequent downloads depends on many factors, which can be found here.
