On the Homepage of the Website and App
Personalized offers are most effective when placed in two blocks using three algorithms: personal recommendations and storewide popular products.
Widget "Ordered products"
This algorithm displays products the user has previously purchased in the online store, based on their order history.
Best placement for this Retail Rocket widget is right after the homepage banner.
Widget "Personal Recommendations" and "Best Sellers"
These widgets recommend products that are relevant to the user's interests, based on their preferences, browsing behavior, previous purchases, and other data.
If no results are returned by the personal recommendations algorithm, the system will fall back to bestsellers.
Widget "Best Sellers"
Displays the most popular products across categories in the store.
Place these widgets at the top of the page, right below the banner.

In Product Categories
Personalized content is shown in a single block using two applied algorithms: category bestsellers and personal recommendations for the selected category.
Widget "Personal Recommendations in categories" и "Category Best Sellers"
Category personal recommendations display the most popular items from categories that interest the user. Recommendations are based on views, purchase history, searches, and add-to-cart events.
Category bestsellers highlight frequently viewed and purchased items within the currently browsed category.
Recommended placement: after the third row of the product listing.

On the Product Page (Web and App)
Personalized content appears in three blocks: similar products, related products from the same vendor, and upsell.
Widget "Similar Products"
These are alternative products (e.g. different size, material, or color) based on product attributes and user behavior.
Recommended placement: before the product description section.
Widget "Related products"
These are complementary products that the customer may add to their cart. This often helps increase average order value.
Recommended placement: after the product description section.
Widget "Upsell"
Shows similar but more expensive or upgraded products, helping to increase the customer’s average spend.
Place it immediately after the second widget.

In the Cart with Products (Web and App)
Recommendations are shown in two blocks: previously ordered products and related items.
Widget "Ordered products"
Displays items the customer has already bought in the past, helping remind them of relevant repeat purchases.
Recommended placement: after the list of products in the cart.
Widget "Related Products"
These are items that complement what’s in the cart and can increase the average order value.
Place this widget immediately after the first one.

In the Empty Cart (Web and App)
Use two blocks with three algorithms: one combining personal history (purchases and views), and one with attribute-based personalization.
Widget "Personal Recommendations"
Displays products from categories the customer is most interested in.
Place below the message that the cart is empty.
Widget "Best Sellers"
Shows the most popular items in the store, based on views, purchases, search queries, and cart additions.
Place this widget immediately after the first one.

On the Search Results Page
One block is recommended, powered by three fallback algorithms: search recommendations, personal recommendations, and bestsellers.
Widget "Search Recommendations", "Personal Recommendations" and "Best Sellers"
If no search-based results are found, the system will show personal recommendations. If the user has no personal data yet, bestsellers will be displayed.
Search recommendations show relevant items for the entered keyword.
If no direct match is found, the algorithm will attempt to return results for a similar or corrected phrase. For example, a query for "red striped polka-dot pants" might return results for the more popular "red pants."
Recommended placement: after the third row of search results (or at the end, if fewer than three rows are present).

On the Search Page with empty results
Recommendations are shown in two blocks with three algorithms: search recommendations, personal recommendations, and bestsellers.
Widget "Search Recommendations"
Recommended placement: after the message that no results were found.
Widget "Personal Recommendations" and "Best Sellers"
These algorithms show relevant items based on user preferences and behavior. If no personal data is available, bestsellers will be displayed.
Place this block right after the first widget.

On the 404 Page
Two blocks: personal recommendations and popular personalized products.
Widget "Personal Recommendations"
Displays products from categories relevant to the user, using behavioral and historical data.
Place after the “page not found” message.
Widget "Best Sellers"
Shows the most popular products across categories in the store.
Place this widget immediately after the first one.
